Buy the Chi-Town Chinos Expansion Pack No. 1 sewing pattern from Alina Sewing and Design Co. A supplement to the original pattern, this expansion pack includes additional pattern pieces to make fitted, knee-length shorts with back welt pockets.
The instruction booklet includes fully-illustrated step-by-step instructions for adding french-seamed welt pockets to any pattern in the Chi-Town Chinos collection. All pocket pattern pieces in the collection are fully interchangeable.
Note: This is not a complete pattern. You must already own the original pattern to use this expansion pack. If you have not yet purchased the original pattern, which contains all the other pattern pieces you need, you can do so .

Suggested fabrics: Medium weight woven fabrics, such as cotton twill, chambray, denim, linen, linen blends or wool blends.
Fabric requirements: 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 1 1/8 - 1 5/8 yd (1 - 1.5 m) // 45" (114 cm) wide fabric: 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 yd (1.4 - 1.6 m).
7/8 yd (0.8 m) quilting cotton and 1/4 yd (0.2 m) fusible interfacing for all sizes and views.
Directional prints such as plaids or stripes may require additional fabric.
Sizing: 0 – 18 (approx. UK 6 – 18, based on our ). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.
PDF pattern includes: Instructions; printing guide; US letter/A4 print-at-home pattern (18 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet). Note: This is not a complete pattern. You cannot use this pattern without the original Chi-Town Chinos pattern.
